Pusha T Breaks Down Tyga Reference in 'M.F.T.R.'

by Sermon

Pusha T's album Darkest Before Dawn drops in two days. In his first single 'Untouchable' he threw cold subliminals, and then revealed some of them by discussing his lack of respect for Birdman.

Push named names in his next single 'M.F.T.R. 'The illusion of money we don’t believe in / You ask me, Tyga looking like a genius," he spits.

According to Push, that the line is meant as praise for Tyga, and contains more Birdman's directed subs.

"The Tyga line was, I thought it was a ballsy move for him. At the time, he was leaving a label with so much greatness associated, record sales and everything associated with them," Pusha explains to MTV.  "[Tyga] was like, ‘I’m not making no money. I’m outta here.’ So, when I say, ‘You ask me, Tyga looking like a genius,’ that’s how I feel. That’s how I felt about it. Some people would sit in a rut. He was like, ‘Nah, I’m out. Forget it."
Do you think Push is trying to recruit all of Birdman's old soldiers for GOOD Music?
