Pusha T Addresses The Diss Track That Drake Supposedly Won't Drop

by HHL JT

J. Prince keeps insisting that Drake had ready a devastating retort to 'The Story Of Adidon" that would end Kanye West's career and badly cripple Pusha T.  According to the Rap-A-Lot boss, he convinced Drake to keep the explosive cut in the can for the sake of Hip Hop.

Drake has yet to comment on whether such a track exists. However, imprisoned rap disrupter Martin Shkreli is now claiming he was recently sent a USB disk of unreleased Drake music including  "a fully-produced disrespect musical piece"

GQ asked Push about Prince's story and he seemed skeptical.

J Prince said that Drake has a response track that would ruin careers, but that J Prince stopped Drake from releasing it. What was your reaction to that?

You know, I don't know. I just feel like if there was something that was beneficial for either of those two guys, they would do it. I think they're into doing anything that's beneficial for them.

Do you think it's a bluff, or that they're scared?

I don't want to call them scared. I just want to say that they're thinking. They're doing what's best for them.

In the same interview, Push complained that rap fans have gone soft by sympathizing with Drake in their beef.

"It's different because there's a lot of sympathy and compassion and things like that I didn't know existed. That's why it's not even fun to me anymore," Push said. "It's so weird. There's a sentimental aspect that I didn't know existed but new rules. I'm learning and discovering a whole bunch of new rules in the rap game and I'll just leave it at that."

Perhaps rap fans are applying "new rules" because they believe Prince's story about Drake holding back his diss for the sake of the game.

Do you believe Drake has such a track? Or are you skeptical like Push is?
