Quavo and Takeoff decided to ditch third Migo Offset -- perhaps over a girl -- and form the duo Unc & Phew.
Their first album Only Built For Infinity Links dropped yesterday.
According to HitsDailyDouble, it's projected to do 32K in its first week. Migos's last album, 2021's CULTURE III, did 130K first week.
In other rap releases, NBA YoungBoy's 3800 Degrees is slated for about 30K, and G Herbo's Survivor’s Remorse 28K.
While those numbers are soft, they are a bit better than recent releases from The Game, Kid Cudi, Tory Lanez, YG, and Freddie Gibbs.
It's clear sales are down in 2022 for Hip Hop acts. It's a little harder to tell if the decline is industry wide or genre-related.
