Kendrick Lamar's first album in five years, Mr. Moral & The Big Steppers, dropped Friday.
HitsDailyDouble is projecting it will have a 325-350k first week, which is similar to the 350K they predicted for it last month.
It will finish number one on the charts and will be the biggest opening of the year, topping the 275K Bad Bunny did last week.
However, it will be a significant drop from the 603K Kendrick's last album DAMN. did, despite Mr. Moral & The Big Steppers being a double album with four extra songs to stream.
Did Kendrick wait too long to drop again? Or is the effectively 50 percent decline from his last album just a sign of these stream-heavy times?
