Liza Sejkora was the principal of Camas High School in Camas, Washington when Kobe Bryan, his daughter, and seven other people died in a helicopter crash.

Because of her reaction to the tragic incident, she's no longer principal.

"Not gonna lie. Seems to me that karma caught up with a rapist today," she typed on Facebook right after the crash.

She eventually deleted the post and admitted she made a mistake by putting it up.

"I have some personal experience that generated the visceral reaction," Sejkora told ABC Portland station KATU on Tuesday. "This was a situation where I didn't think before I posted, and I'm terribly regretful about that."

Sejkora resigned her position on Friday.

Kobe was charged with rape in 2003 but the case was dismissed when the accuser refused to testify.  Kobe settled with the accuser out of court and apologized while saying he didn't believe he raped her.
