Back in the days of the YoungBloodZ, Pimp C called out Sean Paul for jacking his sound, threatening to cut his hair and assault him with a pool stick.
Paul's cousin, Dungeon Family associate Pretty Ken, recollected on that during an interview with Hot 107.9.
According to Ken, Pimp was a sucker for that because he had just said nice things to Sean Paul when they were face to face.
"We were his house two days before it happened. He was telling Sean Paul how dope he was, he loved how his voice came out the speaker ... So I didn't understand it. First of all, I thought it was fake. Because we just left from over there," Kenny explained.
Kenny, Cee-Lo, and Sean Paul tried to confront Pimp for his words at an Atlanta club, but he was allowed to sneak out before they got to him.
Kenny would get his chance two years later at a different club. However, Pimp didn't make a move on him, even though Pimp had a bunch of goons with him and Kenny was only rolling two deep.
This suggested to Kenny that Pimp was just out of sorts when he threatened Paul, which is what Pimp's UGK partner Bun B had suggested to Kenny at the time.
"He was really just tripping. He really don't want it," Kenny explained. " That's not what he want to do. He ain't on no tough sh*t ... that moment I let all of that sh*t go."
