Watch Man Stream Own Murder On Facebook Live

Prentis Robinson was shot and killed in Wingate, North Carolina today. And it all happened as he was streaming on Facebook Live.

Robinson began streaming, using a selfie-stick, as he went to the local department and reported his phone stolen. After a conversation with Wingate Police Chief Donnie Gay, he went on his way.

Not that long after Robinson left the station and about five minutes into filming he encountered someone else off-camera.

Robinson told the other person “You on live” several times. Then the man runs into the screen and starts firing a gun. Robinson falls down dead. His camera points up at the sky and catches an eerie shot of the gunman fleeing.

“It’s very concerning that just a block away from the police department, that something like this would happen,” Gay told reporters.

Police are looking for a a black male with a long gun wearing a black and blue windbreaker and brown Timberland boots.
