Post Malone Fires Back At XXL After Being Left Off Freshman Cover

By HHL Editors

Post Malone was notably absent from XXL's 2016 Freshman Class.

XXL's Editor-In-Chief Vanessa Satten said it because the 20 year old was no longer focused on being a rapper.

"We were told by his camp that he wasn’t playing attention to hip hop so much," she told the Breakfast Club." He was going in more of a rock/pop/country direction."
Post has now fired back at this characterization. He says he is still very much a Hip Hop artist. (And anything else he wants to be).

He also suggests that he was invited to be part of the Freshman Class, but he didn't feel like flying to New York to shoot the cover. Read his words on the situation below.
