Pop Smoke's Killer Gets Decision On Death Penalty

by HHL JT

Corey Walker, one of four people accused of killing Pop Smoke in a home invasion robbery, was eligible for the death penalty.

Today, the 20-year-old learned that he doesn't have to worry about the ultimate punishment.

During his arraignment, prosecutors informed the judge maximum sentence Walker could receive if found guilty would be life without parole.

One other adult and two juveniles are accused of killing Pop in LA Air BnB in 2020.  The foursome made off with Pop's Rolex, which they ended up selling for $2000.

Walker has denied being Pop's shooter, and has tried to reach out the Pop's family to talk.
