Police: Young Dolph Shooting May Be 'Entertainment Industry' Related

by HHL Editors

More details are now available on the shooting incident involving Young Dolph that took place last week in Charlotte.

We already knew that over 100 shots were fired at Dolph's vehicle. Yet nobody was injured, allegedly because the SUV had been bulletproofed. Now Charlotte police are saying the gunfire was part of a running gun battle between at least two vehicles involving multiple weapons.

"I would just say it was more than… there was some high-powered - at least one we believe was used and an assortment of others," said Deputy Chief Jeff Estes.
A police source also revealed that a minivan which crashed at the scene was involved in the shoot-out and that officers recovered firearms in it.

As for why the cars were shooting at each other:

"We are exploring the possibility that this involved some sort of groups related to the entertainment industry," Deputy Chief Estes said.
Young Dolph has been engaged in a high profile beef with Yo Gotti. We'll provide more details when they emerge.
