Plies Takes Responsibility For Kirk Franklin Cursing Out His Son

by Daryl Nelson

Gospel artist Kirk Franklin was trending on Sunday after his son Kerrion shared audio footage of his dad cursing him out. After the audio surfaced, Plies reacted and took responsibility for Franklin's outburst.

The "Brighter Day" creator also called his 32-year-old son "poor" in the footage and physically threatened him.

"Recently, my son and I had an argument that he chose to record,” said Franklin. “I felt extremely disrespected in that conversation and I lost my temper and I said words that are not appropriate and I am sincerely sorry to all of you. I sincerely apologize.”

Plies— who recently explained why he'll be getting the COVID-19 vaccine — commented on Twitter and seemed to get a kick out of Franklin's curse words.
