Plies Addresses Airport Arrest And Says He's Sorry

by Daryl Nelson

Plies posted an apologetic message about being arrested at the airport for bringing a gun with him.

"At this point, everybody knows that I had a long day yesterday," he said. "I just wanted to get on here, man. For anyone who was genuinely concerned about my situation yesterday, everybody who reached out to me to make sure I was good on my end and to anyone who I may have caused your blood pressure to rise yesterday due to my situation, I want to personally apologize. Yesterday was definitely a situation I was 1000 percent not aware of on my end."

Plies then spoke to the airport staff.

"To everybody who work in the airport, who's always overly nice to me and I'm always super respectful to y'all, that's something that'll never change," he stated. "I want to personally apologize from the bottom of my heart also. So if I caused y'all to do any additional paperwork do to my situation yesterday [I'm sorry] ... To my supporters, I love y'all more than y'all could ever love me. Without y'all there ain't no me."

Earlier this week,  the rapper was arrested at Tampa International Airport after TSA agents found a Glock 43 in his bag, and they also found a fully loaded magazine.  Plies said he bought the gun with him by mistake, which is the same excuse Juelz Santana and T-Pain used when they were arrested for doing the same thing.
