Playboi Carti Teased A Punk Rock Themed Project With Lil Uzi Vert

It looks like Playboi Carti and Lil Uzi Vert are teaming up on a mixtape.

Carti teased the project with this cryptic snap:

Those two fine fellows are Captain Sensible and Dave Vanian from the famed English punk band The Damned, suggesting Playboi and Uzi will be further exploring the punk vibe that's becoming bigger and bigger among the new school.

16 and 29 may be a reference to the pairs upbringing: Uzi grew up on a 1600 block in Philly and Carti on a 2900 in Atlanta.

If this happens, it's going to mark a busy stretch for Vert. His debut album Luv Is Rage 2 just dropped, and last week the 23-year old teased the solo mixtape Lil Uzi Vert vs. The World 2.
