Will Freddie Gibbs Be Cancelled for Posting Two Controversial Videos?

by Daryl Nelson

There's a lot of people who want Freddie Gibbs cancelled after he posted two videos that were called offensive.

On Sunday, April 25, Gibbs posted a video of a hotel worker having a mental breakdown after a customer badgered him. The hotel worker is seen smashing a computer on his head and walking off crying.

Somebody make sure this white boy don’t have a gun. 🙏🏿 pic.twitter.com/og6Pwd7vLz

"Somebody make sure this white boy don’t have a gun," Gibbs captioned the video.

Then on Monday, he shared a clip of a bunch of women fighting and some of them lost their clothes. A lot of people said the rapper was being sexist for posting the video and didn't like how he captioned it.

"Is this a fight or an orgy,"wrote Gibbs.

He then began trending on Twitter and that's when the calls for him to be cancelled came. But his fans argued that would never happen.

The Alfredo rapper — who recently said he'd have 2021's best album— responded to the backlash.
