Paul George Tweets On His Opinion Of Russell Westbrook After Surprise Trade

by HHL JT

Paul George just traded superstar teammate Russell Westbrook for superstar teammate Kawhi Leonard.

The word is George's surprise move to the Clippers -- which came a year after signing four-year deal to stay in OKC -- was made possible because George was sick of playing with Westbrook.

Rival NBA teams have been aware of the discontent of OKC's two stars: Paul George -- and Russell Westbrook, league sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium. Leonard pushed the Clippers in recent days to deliver him a second star, and they did.

Westbrook was also fingered as the culprit in Kevin Durant's move from OKC to the Warriors.

But George refused to kick Russ on the way out. Instead, he co-signed a Tweet by Jalen Rose which asked everyone to stop with the Westbrook slander.

I am not accepting any Westbrook slander!!!!

That being said, do you think Russ is more of a problem than a solution?

Oladipo leaves okc...all star
Harden leaves okc....superstar and mvp
Kd leaves and is an NBA champ
Russ is overrated
