Patrick Beverley Speaks On His "Beef" With Kevin Durant

by HHL JT

Patrick Beverley has been all up in Kevin Durant's face during the Clippers surprisingly competitive first-round matchup with the Golden State Warriors.

But don't call it beef between the two, who were both ejected after exchanging words in Game 1.

"Hell no!" Pat said when asked by TMZ if he had beef with KD. "I don't got no beef with anybody."

"It's all fun, man. Just two good teams, two good players battling."

He further explained what he's trying to do with Durant during an interview with NBC Sports Bay Area.

"I don't try to get in people's head man," Beverley said "I can't help that people get irritated by me. It's not my fault. I go out there and I try to be the best defender on the f-g planet, consistently - (day) in and out, in and out. I take my role, I take my job, very seriously, and I do it for my teammates. I understand my role, and I understand how to get stops. KD is not an easy cover, but it's fun out there for sure."

Do you think the Clips have any chance to pull the upset over the suddenly Cousins-less Warriors?

refs should have just let KD and Patrick Beverley swing on each other tbh pic.twitter.com/VYE9kyjkOk
