Eminem's surprise album Music To Be Murdered By and Mac Miller's posthumous album Circles are both headed for big first weeks.
Hits Daily Double has Music To Be Murdered By set to do 300-325k SPS with 110-125k coming from pure sales. It will be Em's tenth straight number album. His 2018 surprise album Kamikaze did 434K first week while his 2017 album Revival did 267K.
Circles is projected to do 175-200k with 50-75k in pure sales. It will be Mac's best opening week ever, topping the 144K his debut album Blue Slide Park did in 2011.
Neither Eminem nor Mac's album is tied to the type of ticket bundle which has been behind most of the top-selling albums lately. (Although they are bundled with other merch.).
The other big release of the week is Halsey's Manic. It's set to do 185-210k SPS, 140-160k in pure sales fueled by an aggressive ticket bundle.
