Drake and 21 Savage's Her Loss album has garnered some very good word of mouth.
Will that translate to huge, Taylor Swift-like sales?
It looks like not.
HitsDailyDouble is projecting the project to put up between 335K and 35oK in its first week and to finish first on the Billboard chart.
While that would be a bit better than high-profile 2022 albums from Beyonce and Kendrick Lamar, it's a fraction of the almost 1.6 million Swift put up last month.
It also continues a downward sales trajectory for Drake, whose long run of 500K plus releases ended earlier this year with Definitely, Maybe.
It is, however, by far the biggest opening of Savage's career. And it was done without having physical copies of the album, which somewhat limits its upside.
