DJ Akademiks is a friend of Drake's, and he's been siding with the OVO rapper in his beef with Kendrick Lamar.

So, it makes sense that he would interview someone who claimed that he was paid by Dot's manager Anthony Saleh to boost streaming numbers for Dot's hit "Not Like Us."

"I'm crashing out," said a guy who calls himself Epic. "This is for my safety. This is how I feel... [Saleh] is who paid me ... I wasn't in direct contact with him, that's just the name that was on the account I got paid by ... They wanted me to do 30 million [streams] early. I have payment proof, and I will DM that to you as long as you don't expose it on stream."

Of course, who knows if any of this is true. One thing that can't be paid for, however, is how many people like "Not Like Us" based on reactions that can be seen online. Plus, radio stations are playing the song left and right.

Do you believe Epic, and why do you think he's only given this information on Ak's show?
