OG Maco Doesn't Like Travi$ Scott Using The Atlanta Sound

by HHL Editors

Travi$ Scott's new single '3500' features ATLers Future and 2 Chainz. It's also produced by Atlanta-based boardsmen Metro Boomin and Zaytoven.

This isn't sitting well with AtLien OG Maco. He believes Scott, who comes from Houston, should be criticized for stealing his city's sound.

Maco expressed this POV yesterday on Twitter:

What's impressive about an Atlanta record made by a non-Atlanta native, backed by two of the biggest artists and producers? Anyone?

I think it's more impressive that the real Atlanta youth is making major strides without co-signs and stacked teams. We empower each other. — OG Maco (@OGMaco) June 8, 2015

I'm saying this and I'm a fan of @trvisXX But we gotta draw the line if we're gonna take the game. We gotta be legendary in our own right

One day the internet will learn the difference between peer criticism and hate. Until then, fuckem.

OG Maco is big on calling out other artists for taking what doesn't belong to them. Previously he's accused Beyonce of stealing his video concept in the visuals for her hit '7/11'.

So far no word on Maco's criticism from Scott -- who's probably out looking for nerds to yell at -- or the "stacked" team of ATLers who aided him in his sound theft.

What do you think? Does Maco make any sense here?
