50 Cent has an interesting history with NYPD Officer Emanuel Gonzalez.
Last year, Fif had used Instagram to call attention to Gonzalez being accused of shaking down the owner of a club 50 frequented.
Gonzalez responded by encouraging his police brethren to shoot 50 Cent on-site at a police boxing event. The police commander made the request during a roll call, and nine other officers heard his words.
50 then said he was afraid for his life and issued a complaint. Gonzalez's defense was that he made the comment in jest, and Internal Affairs agreed.
“This allegation was unsubstantiated and closed,” a NYPD spokeswoman said.
