Now Former Hot Boy Turk Is Suing Cash Money

by HHL Editors

Remember Turk? He was one of the Hot Boys with Lil Wayne, Juvenile and B.G. Then he went Gold with his 2001 debut solo album Young & Thuggin.

His career hit snag in 2004 when he may have shot a cop in drug raid, and served most of the next eight years in prison as part of a complicated plea deal. He's back now, and just like his former Hot Boy partner Lil Wayne he's suing Cash Money and Birdman.

TMZ has seen Turk's lawsuit, and it accuses the label of violating the terms of his contract. Like Wayne, he wants out of the deal he made with Cash Money,  and also wants the rights to all of his music and $1.3 million in unpaid royalties.

It's just a fraction of the $51 million Wayne is asking. But Cash Money could very well be brought down by this increasing parade of cuts, some bigger than others.
