Four-time Grammy winner Bobby Ross Avila's free EP Beats, Riots & Lives arrives on Tuesday, December 1st.
He just dropped the first single from the project, 'No Apology.' In the Jasiri-X featured track, Avila tackles the hot button issue of police misconduct.
"I have first hand experience dealing with how the police abuse their authority at will," he told MTV News. The police falsely accused me of committing a burglary, arrested me and locked me up as felon with a $70,000 bond attached to it. I had to legally prove in court that I was accused based on falsified facts and they were still in denial even when the evidence proved that I was innocent."Check out the track below.
