NLE Choppa Pushes Back Album -- Is it Because Of NBA YoungBoy?

by Daryl Nelson

It's been a pretty eventful week for NLE Choppa.

Earlier this week, he was seen getting into a fight inside an airport. Then there was talk that NBA Youngboy dissed him in his song "Know Like I Know."

Now, Choppa has announced that he's pushing back his new album Me Vs. Me that was supposed to come out on Friday, January 21.

He said the postponement was out of respect for his hometown of Memphis since the city recently lost Young Dolph to a shooting. Plus, a tribute album was released by the late rapper's label Paper Route Empire on January 21.

"Out of Respect for Memphis I'm Dropping Next Friday! #MEVSME,"tweeted Choppa.

But many thought the real reason for the pushback was because NBA Youngboy just dropped a mixtape called Colors.

Do you think Choppa pushed back his album out of respect for Dolph or because of Youngboy?
