NLE Choppa Defends Himself After Getting Mixed Up In Nicki Minaj & Latto's Feud

Choppa was accused of involving himself in the current feud between Nicki Minaj and Latto, so he responded.

As reported, Nicki and Latto are beefing over the New York rapper's song being removed from the rap category to pop after she submitted it for Grammy consideration.  

Nicki said that Latto's "Big Energy" song should also be taken out of the rap category. She then ripped the Atlanta rapper for not coming to her defense.

"I Vow When I Become A OG in This Music Sh*t To Never Hate On The Ones Coming Up," Choppa tweeted on Thursday, October 13. "I Vow To Lift Them Up That Ladder, I Vow To Light That Torch And Keep Passing It. I Vow To Show Love Instead Of Spite, I Vow To Give The Advice Needed, I Vow To Be A Idol To Them And Never A Rival 💯."

Nicki eventually shot back at Choppa in a now-deleted tweet by showing that he once asked for a feature.

"Naw this regards of people who scared of the potential people have to surpass anyone," Choppa tweeted. "You can never block what god have in store for you. I’ve dealt with this my whole life ... Y’all steady saying I’m talking bout somebody. Ion care what nobody else got going I’m speaking on PERSONAL experiences I’ve had with people I looked up to before I came up !! ... @NICKIMINAJ I wasn’t even talking about you love."
