Nipsey Hussle's bodyguard J. Roc wasn't with Nipsey when he was killed by Eric Holder outside of Nip's Marathon clothing store Sunday.

That's because Nip made a last moment decision to go to Marathon and get some clothes for a buddy who just got home from a 20-year bid and didn't tell Roc where he was going.

Roc is obviously all broken up about what went down. He said goodbye to Nip in an emotional IG post, which he signed off by saying he was retiring as a bodyguard
