Nineteen85 Explains Why Drake's 'More Life' Project Is A Playlist

Drake's Views was easily the best selling Hip Hop album of 2016.

He's following that up with More Life, which will drop shortly.

But it's an playlist rather than an album

OVO producer Nineteen85 explained what that means in an interview with Billboard.

“More Life is interesting because this is [Drake] right on the peak of his biggest project yet [with Views], doing his biggest tour and still having so many good ideas that he just wants to put out without making it a big ordeal,” he said. “That’s why he’s trying to call it a playlist because he has a bunch of people in a space, hanging out…. He’s so aware of what everybody else is doing musically that he likes to introduce new music and new artists to the rest of the world.”
More Life was initially slated for December, but got pushed back.

It should be coming soon, and likely without warning.

Does it sound like an interesting concept? It sounds like he's going to be introducing new artists, and possibly stealing some of their swag.
