People who were waiting for the Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 sneakers will have to wait a little longer, as Nike put a hold on its release because of Scott's Astroworld Festival. So far, 10 people have died after a stampede and hundreds more were injured.
The sneakers were supposed to come out on December 16.
“Out of respect for everyone impacted by the tragic events at the Astroworld Festival, we are postponing the launch of the Air Max 1 x Cactus Jack," read a statement from Nike.
The news of Scott's sneakers being put on hold comes shortly after it was reported that a 9-year-old boy named Ezra Blount died from his injuries after attending Astroworld with his dad, making him the 10th person who's died from the event.
