Nike Is Suing Over Lil Nas X's Satan Shoes

by HHL JT

Lil Nas X has been using homoerotic and devilish imagery to promote his new track "MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)."

That includes a run of customized Nike Air Max 97 shoes gussied up with Satanic imagery and featuring drops of blood.

The blood is said to be from an employee of MSCHF Product Studios, who designed the shoes.  666 pairs of the Satan shoes have been produced, they sold-out quickly and the hypebeasts are paying over a grand for a pair on the resale market.

Nike made it clear over the weekend that they had nothing to do with the devil kicks.

Now they have filed a lawsuit, arguing MSCHF infringed on their trademark because their swoosh logo is still on the shoes.

The sporting goods giant wants damages and a halt in the shoe's production.
