The Nike Air Flight ‘89 return for the first time this year sporting an all University Red upper. The kicks looks only slightly different than November’s Gym Red colorway, which had a black speckled midsole, a large red midsole and black accents throughout.

The chunky classic silhouette comes back with what is clearly a Yeezy-inspired style; a copycat trend that's infected the entire sneaker world. The similarities between this shoe and the Yeezy Red Octobers don't just stop with their all red uppers. The Nike Air Flight 89 also borrows the reptilian skin textured inserts from Kanye's signature kick, and uses it on the heel and inserts to hug the tongue. The Flights also break way from the Yeezy inspiration around there, thanks to a red/black speckled portion, and the thick white midsole that sinks to the white outsole.
