The world has been trying to pit Nicki Minaj against Cardi B ever since there was a Cardi B.
The two New Yorkers have played into the feud in the past. But, lately, they've both been signaling it's much ado about nothing.
Today, Cardi's 'Bodak Yellow' made her the first female rapper to grab the top spot on the Billboard 100 without a feature since Lauryn Hill’s ‘Doo Wop (That Thing)’ in 1998.

Nicki spoke on the achievement.
Congratulations to a fellow NEW YAWKA on a RECORD BREAKING achievement. Bardi, this is the only thing that matters!!! Enjoy it @iamcardib— NICKI MINAJ (@NICKIMINAJ) September 25, 2017
Nicki's fourth album should be dropping soon -- probably right around when Cardi's debut album does. Minaj says it's going to be her "best body of work."
Do you think she can re-establish herself as NYC's number femcee, or is Cardi going to steal her thunder for good?
