For the second time today, a CMYM artist spoke about the rift between Lil Wayne and Baby. And just like Juvenile, Nicki Minaj thinks "father and son" will eventually kiss and make up.
"I don't think it'll ever get to that point," Minaj said during an interview with BBC Radio 1 when asked if she would leave the label if Wayne did. "People know I love Wayne and I have loyalty towards him, but I love Baby too. I’m very close with Baby and I don’t think people know that. So I’m banking on the fact that they’re going to work this out like family. I mean, they've gone through things before, just like family does. I’m not even going to think that way."She was a little less charitable when speaking about Tyga. There had been tension between the two last year, and Nicki confirmed it was because of an early version of her hit 'Truffle Butter' that leaked with Tyga on it.
"Low and behold, it leaked with him on it after I told him not to put it out and I thought that was a little bit disrespectful ’cause I had always shown him love," she said. “I had always done stuff with him, took him on tour with me, and I thought it was disrespectful ’cause I am the queen of Young Money."She added that Tyga eventually texted her and apologized, and they've buried the hatchet.
But that's probably why T-Raww didn't end up being on the final version of 'Truffle Butter'. The leak also may have contributed to all the problems between Tyga and CMYM, which began bubbling to the surface last fall.
