Nicki Minaj's brother Jelani Maraj has been found guilty of predatory sexual assault against a child and endangering the welfare of a child in Long Island, New York today.
He was accused of treating his 11-year old former stepdaughter as an "indentured sex object," attacking her orally and vaginally up to four times a week.
Both the girl and her younger brother testified against Maraj, and police found his semen on the girl's pajamas. Maraj's lawyer argued the semen was planted and it was all a set up to extort $25 million from Nicki by Maraj's ex-wife, who is the girl's mother.
The jury didn't buy it, and now Maraj is facing 25 to life when he is sentenced on December 14.
Maraj's lawyers initially said that Nicki might take the stand and present evidence of the extortion. But Nicki's reps pushed back on that, and she never made it to court.
Maraj plans to appeal the decision.
