If you thought Nicki Minaj had a crush on Young M.A think again.
Last month, the Young Money queen stopped by The Breakfast Club and spoke about a host of topics, including what she thought about today’s female rappers. Right away, Nicki said she admired the up-and-coming Brooklyn spitter and thinks she has something special about her.
“I got a thing for Young M.A,” said Ms. Minaj. “[There’s] something about her I really love.”Eventually, Young M.A caught word of Nicki’s comments and said she didn’t want to jump to any conclusions about the superstar rapper crushing on her.
“Yeah, I heard Nicki Minaj, her interview on Hot 97,” the “OOOUUU” rapper told Fuse. “I don’t wanna assume it’s that, though, because people take things out of proportion or whatever. I mean, she did say ‘I have a thing for Young M.A, but she didn’t purposely say ‘I want Young M.A’, so you know, I just hear that she’s showing me love, giving props and showing respect as an OG. But even if she did mean it, cool, you know what I mean?”Yesterday, Nicki responded to the rumor about having romantic feelings for the 24-year-old, and she did it by posting a photo of her boyfriend Meek Mill. “I love a good joke,” she wrote. “But s/o to the only human I have a thing for.”
Unlike other Hip Hop rumors, this one got shut down pretty quickly, huh?
