Report: Nicki Minaj Disses Kanye West At Essence Festival

Up until now, we all thought Nicki Minaj and Kanye West were friends, or at minimum, cordial with eachother. 

We may have been wrong...

On Friday (7/1), Nicki Minaj performed at Essence Festival which was hosted at Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

While performing her song "Monster," which features Kanye West, Nicki cut her performance short, and had some interesting things to say. 

“A monster though! A monster though! But we don’t f*ck with clowns.”

Some fans online are suggesting that Nicki could be mad at Kanye because he recently collaborated with Cardi B on “Hot Sh*t," or maybe it's because He's played games with their unreleased collab "New Body".
