Last night, teammates Nick Young and D'Angelo Russell addressed Russell's taping of a conversation in which Swaggy P admits to cheating on Iggy Azalea with a 19-year old.
They did so at separate press conferences with cameras flashing and Lakers logos behind them.
In his talk, Russell admitted making the tape, but denied leaking it.
"Honestly, I have no idea," he said when asked how it leaked. "Me and Nick, that's our friendship: We play around a lot. Anyone who knows him and knows me, they know that about us. But I apologize for recording that video. I never intentionally wanted to hurt anyone. I never wanted what was said in there to get out. It was my fault that it did, but that was never intentional."Young was less forthcoming:
Me and D'Angelo will handle the situation we have in a private manner outside the media ... What happened is what happened. We got to work on it."As for who did leak the tape, which ended up on FAMEOLOUS ...
A writer for the website told ESPN 97.5 in Houston that he got the tape from somebody in Nicki Minaj's camp, and that it was leaked in revenge for Iggy taking shots at Nicki on Andy Cohen's Bravo show last week.
