New York Politician Says Afrika Bambaataa Molested Him As A Child

Hip Hop pioneer Afrika Bambaataa has been accused of committing an atrocious crime.

Ronald Savage, a New York politician who is currently a judicial delegate in The Bronx, says the Zulu Nation founder forced him to perform oral sex starting when Savage was 13.

Savage claims the molestation began in 1979, which would have made Bambaataa 21-years old.

Savage makes the allegations in his new book Impulse, Urges and Fantasies.

During an interview with Shot 97, he explained how it all happened.

"I was a kid when this happened. I wanted to be down with the in-crowd, not really understanding that what Bambaataa was doing to me was molesting me," Savage said. "I knew it was wrong. I had these feelings that were like, 'Yuck.'"
He says he stayed quiet over the years out of fear of the Zulu Nation.

Bambaata can't be charged because the statute of limitations on his acts have expired.

King Kamonzi, The International Spokesperson for the Universal Zulu Nation, denied the allegations against Bambaata in an email to XXL mag.

The Nation is demanding not only that Ron Savage apologize to Bambaataa and the Zulu organization, but to every single person who’s ever been a victim of sexual abuse.
