New Lawsuit Suggests Subway Tuna Isn't Tuna After all

by HHL JT

The saga of the Subway tuna continues.

A couple of years back, the sandwich chain was sued for having no tuna in their tuna.

However, lab tests kept determining it was tuna.

In the latest lawsuit, the defendants sent 20 Subway tuna samples from Southern California franchises to a marine biologist for testing.  They didn't find a lot of tuna.

19 of the 20 samples had "no detectable tuna DNA sequences." All 20 contained detectable chicken DNA, 11 contained pork DNA, and seven contained cattle DNA.

So take that into consideration next time you hit your local Subway.
