NBA Youngboy Praised For 'Lock Down' Song Recorded On Jail Phone

by Daryl Nelson

NBA Youngboy has been in federal custody since March after being arrested on one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and one count of possession of a firearm not registered on the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record. But that isn't keeping him from making music.

On Wednesday, August 11, NBA's song "Lock Down Session" made the Internet rounds and went viral. In the cut, he talks about not being allowed bail, missing his daughter, who has COVID-19, and some people only wanting him for his money.
