NBA YoungBoy Left J. Cole Waiting In the Studio For Eight Hours

J. Cole isn't big on collaborating with other rappers.

But he does like to mentor the kids, and that's probably why he agreed to get in the studio with NBA YoungBoy.

However, YoungBoy never showed up.  Nor did he call Cole to tell him why he's not coming.  DJ Akademiks explained what happened.

"J. Cole waited for eight hours in the studio for YoungBoy to show up.  YoungBoy didn't show up.  Facts.  These are facts ... But let me be fair to YoungBoy," Ak said, and explained that YB thought his energy was off and he didn't want to record.

"It wasn't about J. Cole, it's about what he was personally going through [being] not fit to be in that environment," Ak continued.  Now of course he's not the person who's going to be courtesy and say, 'Hey J. Cole I'm not going to make it tonight.' "
