NBA YoungBoy Gets Court Date; Reveals The Federal Time He's Facing

by HHL JT

NBA YoungBoy was arrested last year by the feds for one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and one count of possession of a firearm not registered on the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record.

He's been under house arrest in Utah.

On Monday, it was announced he'll be going to trial on May 16 in Louisiana's Middle District.

His lawyer thinks he's going to get off.  Especially after the judge suppressed much of the video evidence against YB.

"We're 100 percent convinced of his innocence and now we have to continue to evaluate our strategy," YB's lawyer Drew Findling told Rolling Stone.  "The unconstitutionality of law enforcement was clearly evident to the court and resulted in a slew of evidence being thrown out.  We're looking forward to going to court."

YoungBoy recently revealed he would get about seven years if he is convicted.
