NBA Star David West Says Drake Meek Mill Beef Changed His Outlook On Life

By HHL Editors

Drake and Meek Mill's one-sided summer slam is being called the first big rap beef of the social media era.

While some have dismissed the feud as a click-driven slap-fest between two puffed up pop stars, the back-and-forth had a profound effect on San Antonio Spurs forward David West.

In the past, the 35-year old has been vocal on social media, often tweeting about social issues like Eric Garner and Ferguson. But he recently explained that Drake's notorious "Trigger fingers turned to Twitter fingers" diss of Meek on 'Back To Back' has changed his perspective.

"I don’t want to be that Twitter fingers type dude no more. Something about that (lyric) just…" West told My San Antonio." I’m not going to be typing. You want to ask me a question, you want to talk about something, talk to me."
