Nas Reunites His Supergroup The Firm

by Daryl Nelson

Nas has been building anticipation for his new Hit-Boy produced album King's Disease over the last couple of weeks, dropping a trailer for it, revealing the artwork and releasing the first single "Ultra Black."

Today, August 18, he shared the album's tracklist, which shows guest appearances by Lil Durk, A$AP Ferg, Anderson .Paak, Charlie Wilon, Big Sean, Don Toliver and Brucie B.

But the even bigger reveal is that Nas reunited The Firm, his supergroup from the '90s that besides him, included AZ, Foxy Brown, and Cormega, somebody that Nas has beefed with for years.

Queens rapper Nature replaced Mega due to the beef, but most probably think of Mega when referring to the group, despite Nature being on the The Firm's 1997 album cover.

Cormega also posted the tracklist to Instagram and said he was glad that he and Nas were able to squash things.

"I’m proud to be a part of this album and even prouder of me and Nas realigning as men who have mutual respect and admiration," wrote Cormega. "Fans have been waiting years for this and he has given you what you want. If you’re a part of the culture support on Friday 'Kings Disease' If you’re with us put that 👑 up salute."

King's Disease drops on August 21. How do you feel about The Firm reuniting?
