During an appearance on Taxstone's Tax Season, N.O.R.E was asked about the time Pun smacked Jay Z upside the head with a handle of liquor, which is part of Hip Hop lore.
According to N.O.R.E, it happened during the NYC stop of a tour the three of them were on, and it was the result of an argument between Jay and Pun over who got to go on last
"Don’t get it twisted,” Noreaga said. And this might hurt some people's feeling. "Roc-A-Fella was hitting niggas in the head with bottles too. Them niggas was wilding!"N.O.R.E added that Pun's boy Fat Joe and Hov still haven't gotten over the incident, and have issues more than 15 years later.
In the past, Terror Squad artist Cuban Link has denied Pun's bottle struck Jay's head, but N.O.R.E seems pretty sure.
