Murder Of Rival Rapper Leads To Two State Police Chase

by HHL JT

Tauj Chardez Taplin and Quardavion Tyvon White are members of the Louisiana rap group The Four.

They stand accused of murdering 19-year old rapper Michael Brock of the rival group Three-13.

Brock had been holed up in the Bogalusa, Louisiana apartment of his girlfriend after getting death threats.  Taplin and White allegedly knocked on the door of the apartment on June 7.  When Brock answered, he was immediately gunned down with an AR-15.

Fast forward to Thursday.  Police in Texas spotted Taplin and White on the road and began pursuit.  They pulled the car over and cuffed White.  However, Taplin was able to get back in the car after a scuffle and headed toward Louisiana.

Officers called off the chase after concluding they were endangering other motorists.  But Taplin must have not known that because he crashed the car near Lake Charles, Louisiana, and was arrested at the scene of the accident
