Way back when, Drake was supposed to battle battle rapper Murda Mook.
That never happened, but Drake's love of battle rap continues.
Although he didn't compete, Drake was front and center at URL's Till Death Do Us Part Halloween event as a host.
Mook wasn't happy about that.
"Y’all n*ggas ain't gonna make money like that. Like, y’all bugging. Stop. Stop it,” Mook stated. “This is supposed to be for us -- our culture. We lit. Y’all n*ggas running in here talking, ‘Smack let Drizzy be him today.’ N*gga come to one shit -- ‘Yo you can be me.’ What? We just giving our sh*t up like that? Oh man, shit getting crazy out here... N*gga just let a n*gga just take the whole sh*t today."
Is Mook right about Drake colonizing battle rap?
