Mozzy's been having a good year. He was featured on the hit Black Panther soundtrack and the album's curator Kendrick Lamar shouted him out at the Grammys.

Things are going so well for the Sacramento spitter that he's driving around Las Vegas in a Maserati.

The bad news is the luxury automobile didn't have any plates and he was caught failing to signal a lane change. When the LVPD pulled him over on the infractions they found a Glock in the car.

Because Mozzy's an ex-felon -- he was busted for drugs and guns in 2014 -- he can't have a gun in his car or anywhere else.

He's been charged with gun possession by a prohibited person and is free on a 5K bond.
