Mister Cee Is Resigning From Hot 97

By HHL Editors

Popular radio personality Mister Cee (Calvin LeBrun) is resigning from New York's Hot 97 according to Funkmaster Flex, who also works for the station.

You might remember that Cee almost quit a little over a year ago after allegations emerged that he was soliciting transsexual prostitutes. (He has since talked about his sexuality in an interview with GQ.)

So far, no word on why the 48-year old is leaving the station this time. Before joining Hot 97 in 1993, Cee was the DJ for Big Daddy Kane. He is also credited with helping to discover The Notorious B.I.G. The Instagram message Funkmaster Flex left announcing Cee's departure is below.

Cee is the second big personality to leave Hot 97 this year following Angie Martinez, who ended up at  NYC rival Power 105. Where do you think Mister Cee will land?

Resignation Alert!!! Today will be @djmistercee last day on @hot97 !!! Tune in and wish him well!!!! @djfunkflex
