Miley Cyrus Rips Hip Hop On The Way Out

by HHL Editors

Remember when Miley Cyrus was doing the Hip Hop thing?

Her last solo studio album was called Bangerz. On it, she used producers like Mike Will Made It and Pharrell and features like Future and Ludacris to give it the "dirty south Hip Hop" sound the artist formerly known as Hannah Montana said she was shooting for.

The album is certified Platinum in the US and sold a bunch overseas.

Miley is about to drop another album, but don't expect to hear too many 808s on it.

In an interview with Billboard, Miley said she's backed away from Hip Hop because of its lyrical content.

"But I also love that new Kendrick [Lamar] song [“Humble”]: “Show me somethin’ natural like ass with some stretch marks.” I love that because it’s not “Come sit on my dick, suck on my cock.” I can’t listen to that anymore. That’s what pushed me out of the hip-hop scene a little. It was too much “Lamborghini, got my Rolex, got a girl on my cock” -- I am so not that."
What do you think of Miley's change of heart?
