Mike Epps Says Sorry To His Wife For Podcast Comments, Says He's Done With Interviews

by Daryl Nelson

Mike Epps made some comments about women while on the All The Smoke podcast and was accused of disrespecting his wife Kyra Epps.

He later apologized to Kyra and said he's done being interviewed.

"I lied to all these women, got them pregnant and sold them dreams," said Mike on the show. "One thing I’m going to get right before I leave this Earth, I’m going to learn how to treat a woman 100% right ... That’s something that I want to do. For my mother, for my children for my daughters. And now that I’m getting older, I’m realizing that you’ve got to treat a woman right."

The comedian received a good deal of backlash for his comments, and it's not clear if that's what made him apologize or if Kyra ripped him at home.

"I wanna apologize to my wife for what I said on this dumb ass podcast sh*t," he wrote on Instagram. "This sh*t is a trick bag. I am always misunderstood on what I say on the internet smh never again will I interview with anyone never I am off this sh*t for good f*ck off less."

He later doubled down on his apology to Kyra.

"Again, I wanna apologize to my beautiful wife for ignorant and reckless," wrote Mike. "I honor you and my family. Please forgive me."
